Shailene Caparas is a CPA, CGA who offers wealth of knowledge in accounting, finance, and Canada Revenue Agency (CRA) regulations with unique experience in audit and in direct operation of churches. Shailene’s profound understanding of the internal operations of a church including compliance with government requirements enabled her to develop best practices on how to best help church leaders to improve their financial and ministry operations through professional consultation.
Shailene has spent seven years working at Congregation Beth Israel, a Jewish synagogue, and another seven years at the Anglican Church of Canada - Diocese of New Westminster as a controller and then as a Director of Finance.
